Farm Fresh Food & Family Fun

Tuckwin Farms is a family owned and operated homesteading business serving communities around Richmond, KS. 
We started as a dream from the backyard of our suburban home in Lawrence, KS. Beginning of 2018 Alex decided he wanted some chickens. Stevie, being the animal lover that she is, accepted the idea. February brought our first flock of 12 chickens. We immediately fell in love and added more. More chickens, more ducks, more quail and more rabbits. Come April, Alex decided he also wanted goats. Against Stevie’s wishes, we got 2, and then 2 more, then goat math happened with the babies. May came with a plan for a garden, but despite our fencing, the goats broke through and wiped everything out in a single afternoon. That was the day we decided we needed the farm. 
We packed our family up and bought a house in the country. Starting from scratch, we worked hard to build every structure, fence, and every single addition that would make our farm better. Every day we build. Whether its physical structures, relationships, knowledge, or simply building stronger bonds with our family by working together on the farm, our goal is to become a little more bigger and happier for our family and for our community.
